My purple cauliflower behaved like red cabbage when cooked. It went to a blue/gray (ish) purple. With the addition of a little acid,(lemon juice/vinegar) however, it became a vivid pink.

Oh yeah that's gorgeous.
I had no luck at all with mine.
What a thing of beauty! Will she keep her colour or go grey like purple king beans?

Oh she sure is!
Have you seen you can grow an orange one?
ENJOY it!
Veggiegobbler - Thanks! This is the first year I had such amazing success. So keep on trying. :)
Phoebe - she'll go just a bit paler. But still look pretty on the plate. :)
HelenB - very interesting. Thanks for the tip with the lemon juice.
Cottage Tails - I have not seen an orange one yet. Is there? Are they as easy and rewarding to grow as the purple ones?
