Cauliflower

Green Macerata (which does not look green to me, but who am I to bicker?) and more of the purple cauliflower. The latter has opened up heaps, so I just pretend I am harvesting purple sprouting broccoli. Looks exactly like that to me. We'll be having veggie feasts. I am not complaining. :)

I was thinking of growing green cauliflowers but there were too many new veggie variety growing this winter. They look sweet and crunchy.

M-K Girl - this is a lovely variety. Great colour and early. Maybe try and grow it next year? :)

Katrina, wishing you all the best with your garden. It's all a matter of trial and error. Experimenting what works best in your garden. Have fun!

My greek grandmother stuffs them with meat and rice and simmers them in stock or tomato sauce. Very tasty, but slighly farty smelling!
