I just have to brag about this beauty! I will harvest this one tomorrow or Friday. Isn't it a ripper?! :)

  2. What a thing of beauty! Will she keep her colour or go grey like purple king beans?

  3. My purple cauliflower behaved like red cabbage when cooked. It went to a blue/gray (ish) purple. With the addition of a little acid,(lemon juice/vinegar) however, it became a vivid pink.

  6. Veggiegobbler - Thanks! This is the first year I had such amazing success. So keep on trying. :)

Phoebe - she'll go just a bit paler. But still look pretty on the plate. :)

HelenB - very interesting. Thanks for the tip with the lemon juice.

Cottage Tails - I have not seen an orange one yet. Is there? Are they as easy and rewarding to grow as the purple ones?
