This was quite a surprise, as the plant was left over from last winter to go to seed. It may have gone to seed, I don't know, as I completely forgot about it. This is not a spot where I usually grow vegetables.So, yesterday I happened to walk past and was startled by this purple beauty!

Then two more small ones coming along nicely.

Ooh wow! I planted some purple cauli seeds a while ago and they are coming along nicely. How exciting! Can't wait to taste it!

Oh wow what a fantastic garden gift! So gorgeous. So sad - my seedlings that took sooooo long to germinate were rudely eaten by caterpillars! Yours look fantastic.

ReplyDeleteMrs Bok - that's a real bummer! Have you tried bird netting over the seedlings? It keeps the white butterfly/cabbage moth away from the seedlings, and therefore the caterpillars.
